Concentration / Evaporation of process waste water

Our solutions for process waste water

Waste water generated in a pharmaceutical production like OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) are high toxic for humans and the environment. Common disposal principle is to segregate it and send it to an incineration station. This high cost procedure can be challenged by a concentration system like a low-pressure evaporator.

This technique generates much less energy consumption and costs compared to the incineration procedure. The energy demand for the incineration (of mainly water) is about 700 kW/ton, cost per ton e.g. in Switzerland are 1.200-1.500 CHF.

An evaporator system with a storage tank with a capacity of 1 m³/h typically costs 250.000 CHF. A return on investment within 3 years can be expected.
